Dgrom Computer Services was tasked with transforming a raw office space into a high-performance, secure, and fully operational environment. From core infrastructure and cybersecurity to workstation deployment and conference room technology, we delivered a turn-key solution on a tight timeline.
1. Infrastructure & Connectivity
- The foundation of the office was built on reliability and speed. We optimized the existing environment to ensure cost-effectiveness without sacrificing performance.
- Carrier Coordination: Provisioned and configured a Verizon Fios fiber line with a Static IP to support secure remote access and stable connectivity.
- Wiring & Validation: We assessed the existing legacy wiring, testing every line and repairing faults to ensure a 1Gbps backbone throughout the floor.
- Centralized Rack: Installed a professional backboard system featuring a TRENDnet 24-Port Switch and organized patch panels for easy future maintenance.
2. Enterprise-Grade Security
- SonicWall Firewall: Deployed a SonicWall security appliance with a full suite of licensed security services (Gateway Anti-Virus, Content Filtering, and Intrusion Prevention).
- VLAN Isolation: Using a second managed switch, we logically and physically separated the network traffic. This allowed us to create a Guest Wi-Fi VLAN, ensuring that visitors have fast internet access without any ability to see or access Triton’s internal HR data.
3. Workstation & Peripheral Deployment
- Laptop Fleet Setup: Handled the end-to-end configuration of all office laptops, ensuring they were joined to the secure network, updated, and optimized for Microsoft Teams.
- Dual-Printer Solution: Installed and networked two dedicated printers—one high-capacity color unit for presentations and one high-speed black-and-white unit for high-volume document processing.
4. Modern Collaboration: Microsoft Teams Room
- Poly Studio X50: Installed the Poly Studio system in Device Mode (BYOD). This allows employees to use the professional 4K camera and microphones with any meeting software on their laptops.
- Connection: We provided a single-point connection at the table including HDMI, USB, and Hardwired Ethernet. This guarantees a stable connection for Teams meetings without relying on Wi-Fi.
- Visual Displays: Installed two large-format TVs—one for the main office area and one for the dedicated conference room.
